StanHattie LLC ("we") operates DogWalker. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Account info: email, display name, phone (optional)
• Dog info: name, breed, size, age, temperament, vet info, vaccination dates, pickup address
• Walker info: name, photo, bio, zone, rates, background check status, insurance status
• Bookings: dates, times, walker, dog, payments
• Walk data: GPS check-in / check-out points, photos, distance, walker notes
• Payment metadata: Stripe customer ID, charge IDs (we never see card numbers)
• Technical: IP address (hashed), user agent, session tokens

How we use it

• To fulfill bookings, deliver walk reports, and process payments
• To maintain account security (rate limiting, anomaly detection)
• To improve the product (aggregate, anonymized analytics)
• To send transactional email (booking confirmations, walk reports, magic-link sign-in)
• To comply with tax / accounting / legal obligations (transaction records retained 7 years)

• Stripe - payments, payouts, Connect onboarding
• Resend - transactional email
• Migadu - email hosting (mike@, support@, hello@)

• Google Maps Platform - geocoding, distance matrix
• Backblaze B2 - walk photo storage
• Anthropic (Claude API) - route narrative generation
• Google Analytics 4 - website analytics (consent gated)
• Microsoft Clarity - session recording (consent gated)

Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax). Analytics and session-recording cookies are gated behind explicit opt-in via the cookie banner. Decline = no tracking cookies set, full app still works.

Your rights

• Right to access: request a JSON export of all data tied to your email
• Right to erasure: delete your account from your dashboard; transaction data is anonymized within 30 days, fully deleted within 90
• Right to portability: CSV export of bookings and dogs
• Right to correction: edit your account/dog info anytime
• EU residents: GDPR rights including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
• California residents: CCPA rights including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data)

Children

DogWalker is not directed to children under 13. Teen and Kid tier walkers must have parental consent and are age-verified by the tenant.
